About Teleconsultations
1. What is a teleconsultation?
A teleconsultation is a medical consultation done at a distance using secure video technology, instead of having to physically travel to meet face to face. You’ll receive the same professional care as in a clinic, with the benefit of convenience and time savings.
2. Who are the doctors at we+ medical?
Led by Dr James Loo and Dr Lee Ming Zhou, our doctors are experienced, locally trained and MOH licensed practitioner.
3. What conditions can be seen over teleconsultation?
Many everyday issues like the common cold, headaches, food poisoning, and menstrual cramps can usually be safely managed through a telemedicine visit. However, telemedicine is not a full substitute for seeing a doctor in person, and more serious symptoms or long-term conditions may still need a physical examination or additional tests.
4. What conditions cannot be managed online?
Teleconsultations are suitable for most common and minor conditions, such as:
- Cough, flu, sore throat, mild fever
- Mild skin rashes or allergies
- Diarrhoea, constipation
- Headache, backpain, fatigue
- Medication refills and chronic condition reviews
- Stress, anxiety, or insomnia

As per PDPA, your data is stored securely and used only for medical purposes.

1. How do I pay for my teleconsultation?
At present, we only accept payment through a linked credit card
2. Is we+ medical covered by insurance?
We currently offer receipts that can be submitted for reimbursement under most personal or corporate insurance plans.
(Some insurers also accept telemedicine invoices directly.)
Medication, MC & Delivery
1. How do I get my medication?
If medication is prescribed, it will be prepared by our licensed partner pharmacy and delivered straight to your doorstep - usually within 2-4 hours.

2. Can I get an MC (Medical Certificate) online?
Yes. Our doctors can issue a digital MC for eligible conditions after consultation.
It will be emailed to you immediately after your session and is MOH-compliant.

3. Can I request a repeat prescription?
Yes. If you’ve previously received a prescription and require a refill, we can review your condition through a short teleconsult before renewing it safely.
Privacy & Safety
1. Is my consultation private?
Absolutely. All calls are end-to-end encrypted and conducted in accordance with MOH Telemedicine Guidelines and Singapore PDPA standards.

2. Are teleconsultations safe?
Yes. we+ medical uses secure medical platforms (PlatoConnect) designed for telehealth.
Our doctors will always advise you to attend a physical clinic if an examination or test is necessary.

Typically 5-15 minutes, depending on your case.
