• we+ medical adheres to the Private Hospitals and Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA) and all relevant Telemedicine eHealth guidelines.
• Every teleconsultation is recorded in your electronic medical record and stored securely in encrypted systems.

You always receive the same professional standard of care as an in-person clinic visit.

2. Personal Data Protection (PDPA)

we+ medical complies with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore.

We collect and use your personal data only for legitimate medical purposes – including consultation, follow-up, billing, and medication delivery.

• Full name, NRIC or passport number
• Contact details (email, phone number, address)
• Medical history, medications, and consultation records
• Payment and delivery information

• All video consultations are conducted on secure, encrypted platforms (PlatoConnect and WhatsApp Business API).
• Electronic records are stored on protected servers with restricted access.
• Only authorised medical and administrative staff can access your information for care related purposes.

4. Telemedicine Consent

By booking or attending a teleconsultation through we+ medical, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

• The consultation will be conducted via a secure digital platform.
• There are limitations to online consultations (e.g.,physical examination may not be possible).
• Your personal data, medical history, and consultation notes will be securely stored.
• You understand that if your condition requires in-person review, your doctor will advise you accordingly.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing enquiry@weplusmedical.com.

Once withdrawn, we may not be able to continue providing telemedicine services.

5. Prescription & Medication Policy

• All prescriptions are issued only after a proper teleconsultation with an SMC-registered doctor.
• Medications are dispensed by licensed partner pharmacies under HSA guidelines.
• Controlled drugs and certain restricted medications cannot be prescribed online.

For your safety, our doctors strictly follow MOH and HSA prescribing regulations.

6. Medical Certificates (MCs)

Digital MCs issued by we+ medical are:

• Authenticated, tamper-resistant, and MOH-compliant.
• Sent directly to your email upon completion of consultation.
• Valid under Singapore employment laws when issued by a licensed doctor.

7. Limitations & Disclaimer

• Telemedicine is not suitable for medical emergencies.
• If you are experiencing severe symptoms (e.g.,chestpain, shortness of breath, uncontrolled bleeding, sudden confusion), call 995 or go to the nearest emergency department.
• The information provided on this website is for general educational purposes only and does not replace professional medical advice.
